Do my arguments (even if you don't agree with them), at least appear sound?
Also, any thoughts on what the guy I'm debating with is throwing out?

He's at it again.  Man, what an idiot.  Note how his main point is just one big fat Ad Hominem Tu Quoque.

Broken window fallacy
Um, you realize that our public schools have more money flowing into them per student (~$11k per year) than all but the best private, compared to about half that for said private schools.
If we didn't have to pay the taxes, those people would be better able to afford it.
As for Europe, you realize that they have a "Money follows the child" system that is actually more capitalistic than what we have don't you?
