This is another argument used by gun control advocates is the Japan.

There is one problem with this argument and that is look at Japan's neighboring country (Look on the Map)

South Korea

South Korea has even stricter laws to that of Japan yet their homicide rate is 8 times higher than Japans. And South Korea has oceans on both sides and at the north one of the most heavily guarded borders on earth (absolutely impossible for smuggling). They are also an economically developed country so this argument of poor nation is BULLSHIT!!

Not only that, but Japan is culturally and ethnically homogeneous, and ethnically homogeneous areas tend to have less crime. Last time I checked, 98.5% of the Japanese population consists of ethnic Japanese.

People are seriously trying to argue that South Korea is poor?  Um, they do know it's North Korea that's the poor one, right?  And aren't these the same people who think money is evil/corrupts?  Shouldn't that mean the homicide rate in poorer countries should be *lower* not the higher that they're arguing?

*EDIT* And yeah, what BreadGod said too.
"When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world—'No. You move.'"

What I meant was people would make an after the fact rationalization that gun control would not work in a poor nation. South Korea obviously proves this argument as a big pile of steaming horse shit.

South Korea is also in the same boat.  https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/ks.html

Yo Guys I found something really funky. Taiwan (Republic of China)

Taiwan's gun laws are just as strict as any of the other two countries I have mentioned and the funny thing is it has the highest rate out of the three.

No clue. I've been looking into that.

Also Taiwan is a Developed country. These gun control advocates will always make an after the fact rationalization that goes along this line.

"well the reason it didn't work is because the nation isn't developed so their law enforcement is weak"

As you can see here that argument is absolute horse shit!

To all of you gun control advocates out there. Better come up with a better argument or

Taiwan is famously violent.  When was the last time you heard of a fist fight breaking out in the legislature of any OTHER country while it was in session?

Herp, derp, but it's GUN HOMICIDE  we are arguing, you stupid LOLbertarian! Not total homicides! Stop reading Ayn Rand!

Overall Homicide > Gun Homicide

Overall Homicide > Gun Homicide

To add to this, doesn't this tell you that these people doesn't actually care about crime and all they care about is something they don't like?
