There are several experts that I know that come to the same conclusion that our occupation of middle eastern lands are creating terrorism, however their solutions very widely.

1. Michael Scheuer

He suggest that we send hundreds of thousands of troops in a punitive expedition against Al Qaeda and Taliban. Annihilate and decimate their ranks including their civilian supporters, after that an immediate pull out afganistan and then a complete pull out of the middle east to prevent anymore terrorists from rallying support.

2. Robert Pape

He suggest we empower allies to fight our enemies but also pull out all ground troops from the middle east

3. Ron Paul

While not a foreign policy analyst seems to have a good grasp of what is happening. He suggests we use Marque and Reprisal.

Are there any other experts that have different solution?

So far I think Ron Paul's option might be the best one.
