My psychology just said that you can only use 7%-15% of the brain becuase of limited sense reception. I thought that this was just a myth. Can anyobe chyme in?

Psychology is like that.  You hadn't figured that out before this?

Despite all of this rubbish, some approaches do seem to actually help with some disorders, although nobody really knows why. The fact that psychology is at approximately the level of surgery in about 1850 has led to a major project in the US to try and understand what the brain is actually doing.  Since it's being run by the US government, it doesn't have a hope in hell of doing anything except spending money, but at least the problem is being recognized.
