What do you think?

Do you think its logical to compare the Spanish flu of 1918 to the current swine flu?

No. There's no evidence it's anywhere near as virulent.

Of course, after another year or two of mutations, who knows?

Are we gonna die? In the near future, I mean?

We're all going to die sooner or later.
Whether or not by the Swine flu has yet to be determined.
"When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world—'No. You move.'"
-Captain America, Amazing Spider-Man 537
