First off, unless you really don't give a crap... Don't visit his site and forums. Especially if you're very "anti-venomfangx" in way. The existance of them is to stretch his small epeen. If you do visit, get an ad-blocker or install NoScript with FireFox, so he can't get money.

Why do I bring up this topic?
Well, I think it's surprising that VenomFangX allows such forums to exist. Atheists and Fundie nutjobs are all over the place, debating.
I registered under a fake alias that I don't use for my youtube, or bogosity username. I registered, expected to be banned within 2 minutes because I've been spreading my "ATHEIST PROPAGANDA."
So far, I've done a good job of surviving the wrath of VFX.
Does that mean he's not banning and censoring people? Nope. He does this, quite a lot. It's of no surprise.
However, he does actually let debates go on, and continue, even when they make good points. However, he'll neither look at them, or he'll reply, and ignore them.
If you're going 1v1 with him, he'll ban you (and a ban automatically deletes all your posts.)
He'll claim there was "something offensive" in the post, when we all know there isn't.
However, I think he's done a good job of not going POWER CRAZY with the bans. As, a lot of people are still there debating.
Heck, I've survived the forums. Yes, I've been on the forums for the past 2 days arguing with crazy nutbags.
But, here's the real reason for this post:
I went head to head with VenomFangX in a topic about Evolution...
... and I now feel like killing myself.
This is the part where I stop posting and fail to explain what I mean by this... and wait until you post and guess and have pity on me and send me flowers and candy to try to cheer me up... then I follow up with what I meant after a few posts. But let's see if you can guess what I meant by what I said first.
That must be the new haven for fundies. I kinda wanna check it out but I also would like to keep my sanity.

Because there was a strict moderation on thewaythetruth, and those forums were specifically for promoting his crazy Fundie Creationist Christian beliefs. It wasn't a debate forum.
He set up this new site with already existing forums like, "Christanity, Atheism vs Theism" etc etc.
It's like wiggling a big piece of meat in front of a shark, saying, "Come on in!"
Anyway... to explain my frustration:
I thought by actually trying to debate with Shawn directly, that he'd actually learn something. Yes, I know, silly me. Yet, even when I knock everything he just mentioned... he completely ignores it, but decides to reply to what he can bullshit an answer for.
Basically, you'd get a more logical answer from a brick wall... or Real Captain Olimar. =P
His way of debating goes like this:
VFX: "Evolution is false, because God created everything... and evolution says that God didn't create us and tells of Abiogenesis and the Big Bang."
Me: "Uh... Evolution has nothing to do with how life began, or the big bang. It simply tells of how species develop and adapt over time via the process of natural selection."
And then he completely ignores that I just corrected him on what the definition is... I made it clear, seveal times on my alias... just WHAT Evolution is. Or at least, a simple definition and explaination a 5 year old could understand.
But, I already knew this guy was a nutcase, but... I didn't think he was this frelling nuts. He completely ignores when I tell him he's wrong in his definition of Evolution. He ignores it and decides to debate something further, completely irrelevent:
Here's how it works:
VenomFangX: "The theory of gravity (which is only a theory by the way) says that people can't type on keyboards. Clearly, this is false, as I'm talking on a keyboard right now.

Actually, in reality, I've noticed he takes a lot of my arguments, and uses it as practice for the next round.
For example, the thread in the screenshot was created after me, and other user, explained just what Evolution was... and pointed out to VenomFangX that a lot of what he said about his "Creation model" about animals being able to just improve on current trains, but not gain new ones... actually was evolution in a sense.
For example, he talked about cats being able to grow thicker fur to adapt to cold environments, but the cat will still remain a cat, and that fur won't become a wing or antennae. I explain to him that a cat adapting to it's surroundings with thicker fur, is a part of evolution.
So, in his next thread, he reverses what I said to say that Evolutionists describe the creation model. (Twisting what I said before about how his creation model was actually part of Evolution.)
The threads can easily be found in his "Creation vs. Evolution" forums. He has 2 of them, both of which he gets raped to pieces.
His reply at a certain point, after much pressure of "venomfangx never replies when he's proven wrong" was a reply of: "*sigh*" -- just because we told him he wouldn't post, so he met that challenge. (But without actually contributing anything, or claiming to be wrong.)
In fact, he actually said something in which, I had completely made up and made fun of him earlier.

Oh, I frequently explain that I archive everything I'm saying too, because he likes to ban people a lot. He knows if he bans me and deletes my posts, I'll just come back again and link the archived copy, showing he didn't ban me for "Swearing" or something.
