Title: TJ and free market capitalism
Post by: Travis Retriever on May 10, 2010, 01:44:06 AM
Yup, he's at it again.
Many people seem to want you (Shane) to make a video rebutting TJ's bullshit.
Good luck to anyone who wants to watch TJ's video.
I couldn't even get through the first 20 seconds of it.

How much do you wanna bet, that he will cherry pick some random guy, whose video is convenient enough to debunk (like he did some time ago), or he will respond to HowTheWorldWorks, simply because he and his audience already think that he is a clown. 100% sure he will ignore Shane or any other of the smarter capitalists.

And his video is filled with stereotypical anti capitalist fallacies. Kinda funny. I remember how he said 2 years ago that he was once a socialist, then became a free market capitalist. Now his gone full circle. I wonder if he will be an anarcho capitalist 2 years down the line.

Well, which one do they want more: that or the follow up to the WoC experiment? I'm not exactly swimming in free time here...

Whatever he'll be you know he'll still be a full time asshole. =)
Not that that is nessesarely a bad thing, mind you.

I take that!
Yeah, that's what we expect will happen.
Again.
God, TJ can be such a tool sometimes...

The thing is, he didn't seem to understand libertarianism/free market capitalism, as I watched his older videos of him saying that he's like the green party when it comes to environmental policy (this was when he was a capitalist).
Given that, it seems like his politics are more emotionally based as opposed to anything even resembling logic, reason, and scientific fact.

Well, because that the comments about TJ's video have died down on your page, overall, they probably want the WoC experiment follow up more as it got more comments when it was fresh, compared to when TJ's video was fresh.

TJ vs HTWW? Again? I guess he thought he'd celebrate the anniversary by playing this routine all over again (the only exception this time is that Thunderf00t hasn't gotten involved). It's good to see that a lot of others like LadyAttis, JacobSpinney, InTheEndIWasRight etc. have made responses. I'm not sure if TJ's doing this for shits and giggles or if he's actually serious. He did have that exchange with Lee Doren via telephone, after all. I think I'll skip TJ's videos and just watch the responses.

@Shane & 11mc22:  I saw Ladyattis's, I'm watching Jacob's right now.

@valvatica: Me too.  I can't stomach his (TJ's) stupidity; not now.
