Thought it might be handy to collect the rebuttals to the most common arguments out there. Starting with the standard one on gun control.
"Do you think people should be allowed to have RPG's or weapon grade plutonium then?"
This one sometimes makes me pause but am I wrong in saying that's more a case of "You can, but why would you want to?"? After all, mini guns and flamers ARE in fact legal in the US already but when's the last time you heard of a crime being comitted with them?
The criteria is a "clear and present danger." This is well established in the courts. Having a gun is not a clear and present danger until it's loaded and pointed (or threatened to be pointed) at someone. Weapons-grade plutonium, on the other hand, is a completely different matter; just HAVING it is the clear and present danger.
