I'm reminded of how amused the Israeli airport security expert I heard on the CBC was by the TSA's 'techniques'. He was particularly amused by security checkpoints, which create a big concentration of people outside the security perimeter...which is precisely the kind of thing a terrorist will target. (That, and all the glass we like to put in airports in North America. A moderate sized bomb in almost any place outside the security cordon of almost any airport in North America would shower broken glass on a broad swath of the concourse.)
Dave, I really love that angry tirade you went off on the judge.
I have to agree, this case was nothing more than just the US government saying "Don't defy us" and that judge going on an uber-power trip.

Frankly whoever came up with the TSA should commit Hara-Kiri....it is that disgraceful...
