Post by: ArtemisVale on March 03, 2014, 03:27:18 PM
I was told of a kind of historian that, while not neccecarily communist themselves, take Marx's ideas of class conflict and economic determinism and apply it to history and historical events. What do you guys think of this?

I'm pretty sure you can't take antihistorical ideas and use them as a basis for doing historical analysis. That leaves out using Marxist theology as a historical analysis tool.
