Not as bad as Jakob's audio track got farked in the render...There's a fixed version up. I'll have to nuke and reupload the YouTube version since YouTube won't let us upload fixed audio tracks... :(

I guess that's yet another notch in the 'fail' column for the new YouTube.

That was never the case for YouTube. If you need to fix the audio, you have to re-upload the whole video.

Then a fail for YouTube in general, then.

In this particular case, no. If YouTube was a video rendering service it would be, but because it's a video distribution service, this is not a service fault.

*Shrugs*
just now looked at the bogosity podcast today:
that Iraqi is a real dumbass--so were his pupils. Therefore, his name is almost certainly "ahbal al-3abeet"*....And yes, they were all terrorists. which just makes the lulz greater.
and it is "Ra'ad haaashim" the a is the long one, not the i. seriously why do people have trouble with this? it isn't that hard to pronounce! ;)
*"stupid the stupid"; the second part is from Egyptian Arabic, but it is an awesome way to call someone stupid, so why not?
We had something similar to the bomber self-detonation happen in Canada once, but it was much stupider.
It was a bunch of cadets (read: kids who are interested enough in the military to start training as teenagers) who were being given a basic grenade safety course. All training grenades are color coded, with live ones always being painted red and dud ones any other color. Due to a bizarre handling error, a live one got put into a box of training duds. One of the cadets pointed out that one of the grenades was, in fact, red after the color coding was explained, and was basically told to shut up. Not surprisingly, the live grenade ended up going off with the results the designer intended to happen when a grenade goes off. (And, of course, the lesson is that all explosive devices should be treated as LIVE explosive devices, regardless of safety measures that should mean they aren't, just like all guns are always treated as loaded. It's the only way to ensure you don't discover otherwise the hard way.)
