Remember how Florida swooped in to save the children from evil internet gambling? Well the Florida Legislature managed to outlaw the entire internet in the process.

Is anyone reminded of the time Greece accidentally outlawed Microsoft Windows, trying to do the same thing?

That would be Law number 3037 passed in 2002.  It outlawed all electronic games.  This included all copies of Windows because all versions came with 3 card games and minesweeper.  That law was, I believe, declared unconstitutional when challenged.

Through the power of posting, just found the Wikipedia entry: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Law_3037/2002

Yes, that's the bunny.  It also likely would have prohibited internet connections, since those allow access to various games as well.
