Title: Thoughts on Voter ID?

What are your guy's thoughts on Voter ID?

I'm not really sure about it.

Well, you need some method of inhibiting multiple voting, otherwise the more crooked politicians would just bring lots of people to vote in multiple polls and/or multiple times per poll and defeat the purpose of having votes (which is to select popularly acceptable office holders).

So the voter suppression thing is bullshit?

Unfortunately, it isn't.  That's the problem:  Not having some form of ID requirement makes it far too easy to vote the cemetery (even dying a finger has been tried and failed, there not being such a thing as indelible ink or dye, given that skin is shedable), and having one makes it too easy to exclude groups of voters unlikely to get whatever specific ID is required.  Election rigging is supported by all choices.

That was funny.

There's no solution.  There's only choosing which problem(s) to have.

I don't know.  I'm just asking questions.
