Title: How Romney "won" the debate
Post by: AnCap Dave on October 05, 2012, 05:58:45 PM
He cheated. (http://www.secretsofthefed.com/breaking-romney-sleight-of-hand-cheating-slow-moclose-up-video/)

"No props, notes, charts, diagrams, or other writings or other tangible things may be brought into the debate by any candidate."

It was a folded-up handkerchief. He can be seen wiping his face with it several times during the debate.

Oh, you just wait: someone's going to post a video on some God-forsaken corner of the interwebz, saying that the handkerchief had writing on it, or that it imprinted subliminal messages or some shit like that.

yeah, I'm that cynical.

It must have been obvious, from all angles, that he'd taken something out of his pocket and tossed it onto the podium.  There are subtler ways to bring in cheat sheets.

well, it was bloody obvious that the impact and resulting fire from the airplanes on 9/11 caused the collapse of the twin towers, yet it doesn't stop idiots from saying otherwise.

In much the same way, people are going to accuse Romney of cheating--especially if they're crazy Obamatons. I agree with you, I'm just cynical though.

Well, Hankerchiefs are notoriously known for not having writing on them ever. Also, the best way to hide something is to place it in plain sight.
Of course not withstanding that it doesn't change the fact that Romney is full of shit this way or another.

again, I'm being cynical. I don't actually think that, but I suspect others do.
