frankly though, the dailymail is blowing the bacterium out of proportions. mainly, the species doesn't live in space: it's from the stratosphere-well within our atmosphere in fact. though I'm sure you know that already. it's just a pet peeve when reporters do things like that.
beyond that, it's pretty neat news.
I think I've seen some of Potholer's videos that showed the Daily Mail's habbit of mis reporting and/or simply not understanding scientists and science papers.
