What's funny about the first pic is that I usually have my Gamma settings kind of high, so things tend to be a bit more clear or brighter.

When the gamma settings are low, it looks like the moon blends in. When they're higher, you can tell that the moon was pasted in because it's surrounded by a black square. And the "real moon" has a blue-like background.
