Well, the whole point of a 911 call is to get people to your location quickly, isn't it?

Personally, I think the whole 911 system is an outdated bureaucratic nightmare. Compare them to services like OnStar. The places were it's needed the most are arguably the poor districts, but that's exactly where their service is the most lax.
