Might any of the future bogosity episode include the fear that was generated with the whole PSN hack/credit card scare, and remove the idea that it is possible to make things hack proof?  The reason I ask is that I do not trust many journalist or even game journalist, mainly due to the sensationalistic feel that some new story's go.  For instance some person takes $20, and some how this is translated to him stealing $100 or something.

This might make a good later topic due to its relevance to certain listeners, but I'm afraid the gamers here aren't techies (to my knowledge) and the techies aren't gamers, so I dont know how easy it would be to report on.

Not for nothin but your links on the anti-vaccination stuff were not very helpful.  Maybe it's just me but an article of one child dying just doesn't serve as any kind of evidence to me.  I'm sure there are stories out there where a child died because of a vaccination too.  What would be more helpful is something with the total numbers of deaths from both.  Show how as the vaccination rate decreases then the illness rate increases.  Things like 'there were 76 cases of measles in the UK in 2005 and 374 cases in 2010 which happens to be a period of time when their vaccination levels dropped to eighty percent instead of the recommended ninety five percent and they ended their fourteen year streak of no measles related deaths in 2006.

Also don't be so obviously one sided.  I think normally you are very good about talking about one side of the issue then the correct side but this week it seemed you understated the opposing side of the argument.

Look at the other sources. That one example was just to put a human face on the statistics; the statistics show it quite clearly.

And if anything, I'm giving the anti-vaccine side MORE respect than they deserve. If I were honestly assessing their actions, I'd be accusing them of infanticide!

Considering the anti vaccination crowd to date have failed to produce even one drop of evidence backing up their claims, I wonder how one even COULD understate their side of the argument.
I recently heard that the word heretic is derived from the greek work heriticos which means "able to choose"
The more you know...

In this podcast you said "... in the 1960's we had the cheapest most accessible health care system in the world, almost everyone was covered and those that weren't were covered by free clinics and charity hospitals that were everywhere"

Please source this information.... I'm having trouble with my google-fu

I cull all sorts of information from lots of sources over many years. But my Googling found this article which seems to explain it pretty well: http://freenation.org/a/f12l3.html

I've shown this to NHS fanatics.  They don't merely say it's wrong or try to argue it.  They just plain refuse to read it.  It's so pathetic...
