Use your boxes for crafts or projects. There are plenty of things that you can use cardboard boxes for with younger children. Paint them for signs or pretend houses for children to play in.
Make a make-shift trash can. Cut the panels off of your box and tape them together to make a container for your trash. You can even use craft paper that matches your decor on the outside of the container.
Turn the box in to a shoe box. Flip the flaps of the box inside the box or cut them off with a craft box. You can decorate it or leave as is. Very handy if you do not want your shoes scattered all over the home.
Use it as the backboard of a picture. You could even paint the cardboard and use glue dots to place a picture on it. Hang it by yarn or thread to show off your fun art work.
