Your budget fix

I've done that one already. I was able to balance the budget without raising taxes.

But it's not as easy as it should have been. Example: "Reduce the number of troops in Iraq and Afghanistan to 30,000 by 2013." How about, "Reduce the number of troops in all foreign countries to 0 right now"?

I don't think I have seen this before.  I have seen one for California's budget deficit problems though.  And yes, I was also able to balance the budget without raising taxes.

Right on! *High Fives*
Or what about the Medicare and Social Security ones?  I like Harry Browne's solution to those things better.  All the things they list are merely prolonging the inevitable.

Also, from that link: "Some economists believe that the Consumer Price Index overstates inflation"  THAT's a fail quote.  Who on Earth would be stupid enough to think that?

And here it is:  http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-statebudget-fl,0,95571.htmlstory

I was able to balance the budget with using any of the one time fixes OR raising taxes.
