Unfortunately, no.
He was just there commenting on the science of the idea of a black hole's gamma ray burst effect on Earth (the scenario of which was presented, though not by Phil, as a sign of the end times, or as a way they would come about).
It seemed like a case of just, 'shut up and calculate', that is.  He wasn't commenting on the idea of how plausible the idea of this actually happening was, or that, even if it did happen, it wouldn't have been Christianity that predicted it (Just like the Bible Code Bogosity).
They were referencing the book of Revelation.
