I honestly can't confirm or deny this. It sounds like wacky conspiracy crap, only C|Net and the BBC have covered it. Some experts say they're doing this, other experts say, no, they're planting bugs in the phones. I honestly don't know what to think.

Well, one comment in youtube said Alex Jones stated this in 2008, so, hopefully it's just BS.
