Or is it bonuses, I can never remember which is the righ plural.
If a bonus is an incentive to do a good job, then what are salaries supposed to be,
because I grew up under the impression that they were supposed the major incentive.
Specificaly with jobs that already have a high pay out like a CEO. Unless of course they spent all of that
money already on hookers and blow.

When I was working professionally (i.e., for other people), over half my pay came from bonuses, not my salary. Salary is guaranteed; bonuses are (supposed to be) based on amount of work and performance.
