1:35:40 is a good starting point
"Government is the great fiction, through which everybody endeavors to live at the expense of everybody else." - Frederic Bastiat.

Did any of them show any understanding of any of the questions at any point?

For every question that we asked, they assumed that we don't want government. Of course, that's their simplified assumption of our position. We're fine with a government, as long as it does not initiate force on innocent people. They just assume that since something is publicly funded, that it's best funded that way or that that is the only way something can be funded. TJ even goes to the lowness of a lifeboat scenario, remarking that what if I put these dumbass libertarians on an island, who is going to grow food, determine law, etc. The arrogance, as if the state isn't mad of people but of dmigods and saints, perfect in everything they do. They talk of the state as if they are separate from us, better than us in every way, but they are just people. For atheists, in this area, they're not very skeptical
