unincorporated areas.

So, I remembered hearing about Max, Nebraska and I recently discovered that there is one unincorporated area near my local municipality and I'm wondeirng if it's sort of like the same thing and if they're usually nice places to live.

The area I'm in is unincorporated. It just means you're under the oppressive thumb of a county instead of a city. We still have things like ridiculous zoning laws to deal with.

It should be slightly better, as everywhere in the US is in a county but not everywhere is part of a city, so you don't have both.

True. We're less of a trash pile than Lincolnton, at least.
