I'd like to start two new forum threads where we share news stories that are bad and good respectively. As you can tell, this is the thread where all the good news gets posted, the type of news that allows you to regain what little faith in humanity you may have left. (I'm doing this since the "Fav Quotes" thread has occasionally been used to link to good news stories rather than for simply sharing awesome quotes.)

Allow me to start with some "good" news:

Muslims Surround Synagogue Creating 'Peace Ring,' There's Just One Problem

On Saturday night, over a thousand people, mostly Muslims, surrounded a Jewish synagogue to support Jews with that they called a "Peace Ring," but there was a serious issue with the organizer which is drawing criticism from many in the Jewish community.

The Norwegian event was organized with the endorsement of the Jewish community and was done as a protest to the February 15 slaying of a Jewish volunteer at a Copenhagen, Denmark synagogue by a Muslim. The protest was praised by the head of the Jewish community in Oslo, Ervin Kohn, as "extremely positive" and as something that may change the dynamics of the relationships between Jews and Muslims on Scandinavia, according to Haaretz.

Gee, don't you wish more religious people acted like this? Then perhaps we could actually see some peace in the freaking middle east.

Do someone know what is the experimental protocol here ? Because one penis can vary in size under different conditions, both in flaccid and erect state ... So what is the standard state of the penis considered ?

I'm assuming the size of the penis when aroused by a fetish the person has (i.e. greatest arousal).

I THINK this was both flaccid and erect, length and girth, and form actual measurements instead of just what guys wrote down, so all the usual sources of systemic error should be gone.  (Incidentally, what I've noticed is that flaccid size depends quite a lot on ambient temperature while erect size does not.)

What I don't know is whether I should be pleased or displeased by the fact I'm near the middle of the distribution and thus how my ex used to react was all about skill and her temperament.

According to the link, it was flaccid, stretched, and erect, and they all correlated pretty much perfectly.

Flaccid size changes more with white guys than black, because our ancestors were in colder climates so the body needed to be able to retract it when it's cold to protect it from getting too cool. Guys whose ancestors were in tropical climates don't have that, at least not as much.

Take it from me: it's pretty much all about skill. Pleasure her often and she won't complain.

No, it would have been ME complaining, actually.  She was a screamer, with me anyway.  I was NOT fond of her screaming in m face, regardless of the cause.  It damn well HURT.  Not that it had anything to do with her leaving, that had to do with her going through a major personality change and not being able to deal with stuff any more.  You know that "It' not you, it's me," thing?  Well, it really was in this case.  Took me a long time to accept that, too.
