Eric Posner flat out contradicts himself in his latest contribution to Slate:

So apparently college students are children, and yet they're free to move about the city the University resides in as adults?

There's an example regarding Rawl's theory of justice (which I won't discuss here) and it's compatibility with same-sex marriage.  The teacher could've argued and dismissed the point on grounds that it was irrelevant to the issue, but dismissing it simply because some students are uncomfortable with it would be a precedent to NO discussion at all and thus no learning.

The Holocaust denier would've failed the class because it would've been impossible for them prove their point (because you know evidence).

Of course there's the issue of making loud (unpermitted) demonstrations, but those are prosecuted for disturbing the peace regardless of subject matter.  This is ejecting students for using their indoor voice to discuss controversial issues even in their own dormitories.

No reason why you should; I haven't posted it. ;) But yeah, he's on for the next podcast.
