Thoughts On E3 2014

I know most of you on here are fellow geeks and nerds. So I reckon most of you have been following E3 2014 this week. I want to hear your thoughts on this year's event. Which press conferences were you excited about the most? Microsoft? Nintendo? Sony? What news and announcements have you hyped the most? Which games are you most looking forward to?

As for me, here are my blog posts on the Nintendo conference and especially the Super Smash Bros. announcements.

I know you recently liked my podcast on Facebook. We posted mp3s of our live reactions for each conference as well as a review of the conference overall.

I'll just write a small list here though.

From best to worst:

1. Sony
2. Nintendo
3. Microsoft
4. Ubisoft
5. EA

While Nintendo's was pretty great, I think Sony overall had the better conference.

Microsoft had a solid showing overall. Not enough to make me buy an Xbox One, but enough to where I wouldn't outright reject one, which I would have done about a year ago.

Ubisoft was probably the most back and forth conference of the night. They had some good stuff and some bad stuff and it kept going all over the place in quality.

EA didn't have a conference. They had a conceptual prototype.

Im really hyped for Bloodbourne. I loved the dark souls game. Im also looking forward to the youtube and playstation now apps.

Rainbow Six Siege looks pretty awesome, hyped for Batman and Far Cry 3, Bloodourne makes me want to buy a PS4, honestly, but it wont happen
