OK, so I've just created an account on Dailymotion--to replace my Youtube account for future uploads (having grown fed up with conditions there). I also hope to take advantage of the relative lack of competition on Dailymotion (even if it is smaller than Youtube). as with my old channel, it will hopefully focus on science-related topics. unlike the old channel, it will also have everything else that comes to my mind.

it is my intention to upload a trailer perhaps to the Youtube account, but keep the new videos strictly on Dailymotion.

which is where your advice comes in: how do I best attract attention to the videos I'll be uploading?

also, any improvements to how I make videos would be most appreciated: my budget is very small (most of the money goes to paying my debts), and in fact is is hope that my videos will generate revenue on the site--if it is successful. this would help improve the still relatively austere conditions at home.

(in case you're wondering: the avatar is a picture I was allowed to use--it's advertisement for Restitutor Orbis: a mod about the 3rd century AD for Barbarian invasion. The animal on the poster is a Dilophosaurus--I made the image based off a photograph of a skull of the animal. I have a deviant art account where you can see it: http://ibrahim1990.deviantart.com/art/Dilophosaurus-Head-456487187)
Meh

I should probably actually do something on my DailyMotion account. Maybe some of the videos that got whacked in this latest round of false-flagging...
