Well, as far as it goes, I'd rather bail out "stupid" homeowners "on the East Coast" than "multi-billionaire 'genius' investors on Wall Street. Mind, I'd just assume let both fail, and pick up the pieces, but if I absolutely must bail out one or the other...

That's the thing though these homeowners' are unquestionably very rich people, so in both cases we are bailing out millionaires if not billionaires.
