Ok we have discussed Robin Hood, but do you guys think of Zorro.

Fiction, unlike (the basis for) Robin Hood. Even the original books are incredibly inconsistent as to his character.

It certainly looks like Zorro was copied directly off of Robin Hood, specifically the version that first showed up in Ivanhoe (dispossessed nobleman taking vengeance against the usurper who took his family's lands and money).

I mean, who wastes time putting Z's on everything?  :P

He always seemed to me more like the Scarlet Pimpernel than Robin Hood.

Seconded.  Reminds me of that Daffy Duck sketch with him as the Scarlet Pumpernickel.

Or the one where he tried to be Robin Hood. "Yoiks and away!" [crash] "Yoiks and away." [crash] "Yoiks and away..." [crash]...

Do these arguments apply to Batman too since Zorro is the influence for him?

Jesus is the influence for everything. Even similar myths that predate him.
