This Week's Quote: "Let all people come in, and vote fairly; it is to support one or the other party, to deny any man's vote." —John Holt

Add the school district as well for Biggest Bogon Emitter. They're trying to appeal the judge's ruling because of their bullshit "zero tolerance" policy and even going as far as to claim "he knows right from wrong."

So they've just left the whole John Hurt business hanging for the moment?

Pretty much. They've made a couple of posters with him, and there's one shot of him, Tennant, and Smith from the set.

The thing that gets me is, sure, we fans are keeping ourselves excited, but there's everyone else, too. And there are a LOT of people who tuned out when Tennant left who'd tune in to the special, if they only knew he was in it.

I've been watching BBC shows since I was a kid. There have been a lot of good shows, but there also have been a TON of dumb decisions from them—including the bogosity that led to Doctor Who's "hiatus."

minor correction:

Pepsi is more sweet and sugar (OK, corn syrup) heavy, for the record: it also has a higher caffeine content. However, you were right to say it is more citrousy. it's more ideal when served warm, rather than cold, like Coca Cola.

sorry, the Pop Connoisseur in me is talking XD
Meh

That's irritating.  Not only is John Hurt by far the most prominent actor to ever take the role (he's been a major international star for well over 30 years), this is the first time since the revival that we've had a major mystery about what the hell the Doctor's gone and DONE. Nine didn't take long starting to talk about what it cost to end the Time War, and since then the longest standing mystery was what River Song was to the Doctor (and we'll never know if this was what she was originally, since anything Amy didn't know could have changed).
