1,7,8, & 9 Probably do have some merit to them.
3-6 Are that guy's pet peeves about how others use language, and are support neither for or against his point.
8,9, & 15 Depends on whether your talking text-book economics, or IRL.
12,13,14 Sounds suspiciously like he's the one doing the misconstruing. Or at least the possibility is there.
17 If that comes up, I guess you could go to the Nobel website and find out.
18. Even if they did, the argument will still be true, or not, regardless of having been found on that website.
