Love It Or Leave It: The Quick Response

I've come up with a quick, single response to those who say "If you don't like America, go move to Somalia."  We all know this is such a bogus argument because Somalia is a failed state, not orderly deconstructed state.

However, there is a way to turn this argument back around on the fools who use it.  Simply say this:

"If you don't like America, go move to the European socialist country of your choice."

If the argument works one way, then it can work the other.  However, the argument doesn't work to begin with, so this reversal is very decisive in exposing the idiocy of the Love It or Leave It argument.

That's silly. everyone knows that when you turn a statist argument around it ceases to be legitamite!

I've done this a lot.

Want UHC? Go to Canada or the UK. Want central banking? Try Germany or Switzerland. Want theocracy? Take your pick.

But the US is where you're supposed to go where you want to live free. So if YOU don't like it, YOU move!

Statists HATE it when you do that!

Another response they hate:

Hmmm, good idea. Why don't all the people who love liberty and small government go somewhere and found their own country based on those ideals? What a great idea! We should totally do that. Oh, wait, we already have—THIS IS IT!!!

Why is this argument never brought up by anyone who isn't trying to force their opinion about something totally not important down your throat?

A quicker response would be to tell them to fuck off.

This thread. <3  All my yes. ;D
