And seriously? do the Saudi clerics think some penetrating object is going to debauch people, coming out of the car seat? what are they, stupid?

I agree, he deserves his name mangled (yes, you butchered it). Though I don't think he's being an idiot: he knows he's full of shit--he's just lying to force people to follow his perverse idea of society.

And the part that gets me? they admitted it openly: there's no law, nor religious commandment, nothing, that prevents women from going behind the wheel--they can't even veil this on religious grounds.

They're just sexist scumbags who are clearly lying to keep people down--and they just got away with admitting it.
