(A violation of Godwin's Law, I know, but still funny.)

I posted the above in the forum about gun control and got this response from the dude I quoted before in the italics.
Note how this guy can't punctuate a sentence or capitalize properly to save his life:
"i... dont think it possible... to start on how wrong... all of these are...

lets start with the misguided idea that they are good examples of gun control gone wrong (on the side of guns should be aloud). they're a bit extreme aren't they? that would after all be the equivalent of someone saying guns were bad to use the Kennedy assassination as an example...

my biggest problem is the fact that ALL of those situations are very BAD examples of gun control (on the side of everyone having guns) i mean come on! taking 9/11 as an example seance you decided to bring it up. lets go to the other extreme and say everyone did have guns, of course they would only have pistols or something to that effect. think about it, the civilians are not trained killers a good amount of them would not use the guns! not to mention the terrorists are most likely trained killers! they kinda proved that by RAMMING THE DAMN PLANE INTO A BUILDING! I'm pretty sure they would not have thought twice about using their assault rifles or whatever else to blow away the passangers had someone tried something like pull a gun. now i will admit it is possible that had everyone had a gun it could have gone better but still the only way it would have gone better is if EVERYONE on that plane had a gun and EVERYONE was more then willing to use them, im sorry thats just not how it was!

then theres the hitler reference probably by far the worst of the three. let me try and break it down, that picture is bassically blaming world war 2, the Holocaust, AND the nazi movment in general on the fact that the civilians didnt have guns... dose anyone else see just how stupid that is? not to mention there probably were alot of civilians who fallowed him, and had they had guns they would only have used them to kill more people for the nazis... granted im sure it would have been harder for him to take over the country in a dictatorship and do all that he did had all the citizens had guns but come on, it really would not have made such a difference that everything during that period in time would not have happend.

but that third picture as a duel point to make and its even more stupid then the first implication. the second one is implying that in America, if no civilian had guns we would turn into Nazi Germany... where to begin on the reasons why that's stupid. lets start with the fact that even if every civilian had guns do you really think we could stop the government if they tried to take over? they have access to better guns, and things made PURELY for the idea of winning wars! now lets go over the next reason why its stupid, its also comparing a dictatorship to a democracy, like there's barely any difference right?

i mean i have to say these are not only offencive but they're wrong, at least you could have made a GOOD argument but they aren't good arguments. and as i said before i could counter them by saying what about the Kennedy assassination? if these were a joke if you had posted them on a different thread i could probably find them semi funny but you posted them on a thread as an argument and it was piss poor I'm sorry. i mean SERIOUSLY did you even think about the thread itself, at the rate your going its going to get FUCKING BANNED! like what did you not read my statement before hand? did you just completely ignore it or something? this is supposed to be a discussion and your turning it into a heated ARGUMENT! i really REALLY hope you have every intention on taking those down because the only thing they are going to accomplish is getting people or threads banned...

i mean i cannot go over just how fucking appalled i am about that and im not even easily offended. i think what i really like most is not the fact that its offensive is the fact that its not a good argument, i mean at least it could have been a good argument i could have looked past the offensive nature of what your implying with those. but they were, quite frankly, HORRIBLE ARGUMENTS! -sigh- okay I'm going to take a deep breath, and try not to yell so much.

and last but defiantly not least i heavily suggest you take those down, because if you don't I'm sure i will not be the only one to talk to an admin about deleting this thread and i would rather it didn't come to that"

I've yet to read it, but if its as stupid as his last post, or of the first tiny bit I did read, anyone reading it on this forum, will probably be facepalming all the way home.

So what arguments from people on the right side of the political bird have you heard that make you want to scream?

Dammit Beck, what's the deal?  One minute I think you're okay and the next I'm thinking the body snatchers have paid you a visit.
I recently heard that the word heretic is derived from the greek work heriticos which means "able to choose"
The more you know...
