Swine Flu

Well, I just went to the doctor today and got tested. It came back positive for type A influenza, which is most likely swine flu (at least, according to my doctor). Anybody else getting the flu or know anybody who has?

Not personally, but I've heard from several people who've gotten the swine flu and say it's no worse than any other seasonal flu.

Well, this is technically the first time I've ever had any sort of influenza, so I don't have any personal experience to compare it to. It's worse than your average cold, I'll give it that.

The big things with most flus are fever, chill, muscle aches, and fatigue, lasting perhaps for several days. They can cause serious problems with people in high-risk groups, such as the elderly and people suffering from other conditions.

I understand it has a lower mortality rate than the common flu so what's all the fuss about?  Haven't we been down this road already before too?
I recently heard that the word heretic is derived from the greek work heriticos which means "able to choose"
The more you know...
