Obviously it's a load of apologetics. Easy to debunk--for me, at least. So I'll leave it as an exercise for others.

Put simply, the article is at the very least, misleading. At most, it is a biased, one sided, and a dumbassed affair.

The author must realize that if it's the GOP's fault for starting it, it's Obama's fault in continuing it. Of course, he won't. There are other points (Obama's failure to countermand or veto some of the items he could have, the fact that there was no surplus in Clinton's time as president, etc.)
