That's what everyone's attacking him for, but I have a bigger problem with what he said afterward: he said you should punish the rapist and not the baby. Um, WHAT ABOUT THE MOTHER? He doesn't even MENTION the mother? That's gotta be more telling! The "legitimate rape" thing I can write off as astounding ignorance, but this attitude that the mother doesn't really play into the moral and legal evaluation? That it's just the rapist and the baby? How is that not 100 times worse?
