Voting is not a joke!

What can I say? We Texans are just that damned charming. Look at Kinky Friedman, Will Wrights, Tommy Lee Jones, or myself even? Can you honestly say you'd be able to resist voting for us in a political primary?

*One MEEEEEEEEEELLION dollar smile!* :-)   |   )

Over 20% of North Carolinians voting in the Democratic primary selected "No Preference" over Barack Obama.

those fellas who voted against Obama should get a silver cluon  :P

Maybe, maybe not.  This sounds rather similar to 'Anybody but Bush', and would likely turn out about as well.

It was the 'anyone but the Democrat' feeling that helped get Bush in back in 2000, and it was the 'anyone but the Republican' feeling that caused the Democrats to put up two VERY junior Senators as their possible contenders for President (and both with highly questionable backgrounds, Clinton STILL has multiple criminal scandals that have never been properly resolved, and Obama came from the notoriously corrupt Illinois Democrats).

yeah, it was more a tongue in cheek comment.

of course, the irrationality of the matter just raises a question: if they're so displeased with Obama (and both parties) why not just vote for another party? is it really too hard to do? better still, if none can be found, don't vote.
