This video has been getting a ton of views up on Youtube ever since it went up a few days ago. The video showcases a Texas judge named William Adams brutally beating his daughter with a belt for "stealing off of the internet." The video was recorded back in 2004, but the daughter in this video, Hillary Adams, released it recently after abuse from her father continued for several years afterward. Judge William Adams is known for handling cases involving children.

The description of this video says as follows:

2004: Aransas County Court-At-Law Judge William Adams took a belt to his own teenage daughter as punishment for using the internet to acquire music and games that were unavailable for legal purchase at the time. She has had ataxic cerebral palsy from birth that led her to a passion for technology, which was strictly forbidden by her father's backwards views. The judge's wife was emotionally abused herself and was severely manipulated into assisting the beating and should not be blamed for any content in this video. The judge's wife has since left the marriage due to the abuse, which continues to this day, and has sincerely apologized and repented for her part and for allowing such a thing, long before this video was even revealed to exist. Judge William Adams is not fit to be anywhere near the law system if he can't even exercise fit judgment as a parent himself. Do not allow this man to ever be re-elected again. His "judgment" is a giant farce. Signed, Hillary Adams, his daughter.

Of course, the full video makes it clear the father is a neo-Luddite who thinks computers will tear his family apart. (Probably didn't occur to him that HE was the one doing that...)

Savagery indeed. His response when asked about it lacked any kind of legitimate remorse. He kept saying that he merely disciplined his daughter, but lost his temper. Telling your daughter that you should continue to beat her is NOT losing your temper. That's just being evil.

she was doing something illegal..im sure her father warned her before not to do it so she brought it on herself. she disobeyed her parent and needed a lesson to be taught. downloading illegal music and video games is the same as any other crime. im sure if she got caught and fined she would not be the one paying for it it would be the parents

Here is my question to yall intelligent ppl on YT:
Q: If the dad was abusing her on a regular basis, why did the daughter choose to stay with him after her parents divorced and not the mother? I can't think of an adult (18 yrs old) wanting to stay with an abusive parent. Her younger sister chose to stay with the mother, why not her?
This is where the credibility of Hillary falls apart. Another issue is if she had released the tape a lot earlier, the judge coulda been arrested and lost his job.

And a lot of comments, saying they had much worse, therefor this is OK. Just shows you how child abuse can fuck you up. And yes, spanking your child IS child abuse in my book. It's almost universally proven, that doing that to your kids, even if it's not as sever as shown here, will screw them up in the long run. Speaking from experience.
